Great Lake Geomatics team laser scanned a complex assembly of overhead transmission lines for DTE Energy in Detroit. The resulting digital database allowed DTE to easily determine elevation and sag of the lines, among other things, without physically returning to the site. The measurements were used to support a facility reconfiguration project.
